Ireland to Hold Early Elections

January 20, 2011

Irish Prime Minister Brian Cowen announced Thursday that early elections will be held on March 11.

Fianna Fail’s junior coalition partner, the Green Party, refused to approve the new postings and forced Fianna Fail to set a new election date.
